Fry Elementary School Weekly Announcements 9/9/18

McTeacher Night – THANK YOU!
Wow! Thank you for your generous support of this event! We raised almost $1400 dollars for our TEAM IPEF runners. Amazing community effort TEAM FRY!

Arrival/Dismissal
As we work on making our arrival/dismissal procedures as smooth as possible, please note the following:
*Students who go to the “car line” through the gym at the end of day must be utilizing the car line to be picked up. If you are meeting your child or they are walking to a car parked elsewhere, the student should be dismissed as a walker with their class. When it rains or we have extreme cold, students will be called outside from the gym, by number, from the car line only.
*For 1st/2nd/5th grade parents meeting students at doors 8 & 9 (playground area) after school, please wait/gather on the blacktop, not the sidewalk. With the number of students exiting, it may be better to establish a meeting place away from the doorway.
*As per our handbook policy, dogs should not be present on the playground or at dismissal doors/sidewalk areas. Thank you!

Fry Curriculum Night
FRY CURRICULUM NIGHT is this WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 12th.
Classroom teachers will begin presenting at 6:30 in their classrooms. The first session will end at 7:10. Teachers will present a second identical presentation from 7:20-8:00. This allows parents to attend sessions in two classrooms if needed. This evening is for parents/guardians only.
There will be an optional Chromebook Parent Information session for parents of students in grades 2-5. This session will be in the gym starting at 5:45.
