Reported by on 11/8/18

On behalf of the Fry PTA:

PTA Announcements for 11/8

Thank you to all who donated their extra/unwanted candy. It has been delivered to Green Harvest Food Pantry for use throughout the remainder of the year.

All Pro Dad-11/16 8am
Please join us at the next All Pro Dad’s breakfast! This is a monthly gathering where adults and children explore a specific topic together while having a continental breakfast. Cost is $10/family. It’s a great opportunity to spend some one-on-one time with your children.

This month’s topic is Thankfulness. The big discussion idea is: Often we focus on what we don't have and forget to take to stock of what we do have. If you focus on what you don't have, something will always be missing. It's important to be thankful for what you have and not take those things for granted. Some of the most successful people are generally the most thankful.

Junior Great Books
Does your child love to read? Then please join us for Junior Great Books (JGB). JGB is the weekly book club for 2nd through 5th graders. Students will meet each Tuesday during their recess and lunch period, starting January 22, 2019, and continuing for 9 weeks. The sign up deadline is Friday, November 30, 2018. The registration form is attached.

Fry Family United Night (FFUN) 12/5
FFUN project: A tree has many leaves and Fry is creating it’s very own evergreen tree that highlights all the different parts of our culture and heritage. A piece of green card stock is being sent home so that your family can make their “leaf” and share a bit of your family's culture! Please ensure that it is completed and returned to their Teacher by November 26th! If you have any questions email: or
