Fry Elementary School Weekly Announcements 5/28/19

Volunteer Appreciation Tea
Calling all volunteers! Fry Staff and Students are so appreciative of your time and efforts this year. Whether you volunteered in the classroom, LMC, or as part of the PTA, we want to say THANKS!

Please click on the link below to view the invitation for our Thursday, May 30th Volunteer Tea from 2:30-3:30. We hope you can join us!

Field Day
This Friday is Fry Field Day! Sessions are:
9:30-11:00 1st, 2nd, 3E
1:00-2:30 3Mc, 3GP, 4th, 5th
2:10-3:10 Kdg
Class Colors are:
KJ - Red, KM – Blue, KJo – Green, KLY - Yellow
1st - Red
2nd - Blue
3rd - Green
4th - Fry Spirit Wear
5th – Scullen T-shirt

Please make sure students wear OLD GYM SHOES, as we know the field has the potential to be muddy. Students in the AM session may want to bring a pair of flip-flops to wear after field day (so they can take off damp socks/shoes). Water bottles (marked with names!) and sunscreen are recommended.

Field Day Treat
On Field Day, the PTA will provide assorted Outshine Fruit bars as a treat for students. The nurse’s office has already contacted parents of students who have a food allergy alert on file. If you have any questions or concerns about your child having this frozen treat on Field Day, please contact Nurse Barta at 428-7404.

Thanks for supporting Fry/Old Town Pizza!
Thank you parents for continuing to patronize Old Town Pizza and participating in our Pizza Fry-day efforts! Because of this partnership, we are able to purchase end of the year “summer fun” prizes for our paw drawing winners. Thanks for your support!

Crossing Guards Needed for 2019-20
We need you! Fry has AM and/or PM Crossing Guard openings for next year. Times are 8:45-9:05 and 3:30-3:50 daily. Pay is $10 per 20 minute session. Can’t commit to every day? Find a friend to share the position with you! Please contact the Fry office if you are interested.

Registration Packets
If you have not already done so, please return your registration packet to the Fry office and complete online verification right away. Students are not placed on a class list until registration is completed. Thank you!
