Safety Week
This week teachers will begin to teach routines and procedures associated with emergency situations and practice associated drills (fire, tornado, lockdown). Teachers will also teach mini-lessons on topics such as situational awareness, listening to adults, moving with purpose, exit awareness, and rally points. All topics will be presented in an age-appropriate manner. All drills will be announced and explained to students in advance.

End of Day Dismissal/Pick-up
We had a good first week working through our end of day procedures. Thank you for your patience as we all make adjustments to a new year! A few reminders:

-Please display your carline number (dashboard or hanging) the entire time in line.
-Please pull all the way forward in the carline. Once cars have stopped, students will walk to them.
-Please observe no parking areas on surrounding streets. There is no parking/standing/waiting in yellow curb areas.
-Let’s all continue to make student safety our priority!
