PTA Announcements for 9/9/19

Volunteer Opportunities
Please return your completed form to school with your child or drop it in the school office by TOMORROW 9/10.

The Volunteer Opportunities form should have come home via backpack last week. Please select any programs that you are interested in helping with. If you have questions regarding time commitments or program details, please email us at fryfoxpta@gmail.com.

*Note: You must be a PTA member in good standing in order to be a room parent or party helper. Please understand that spots are limited and names are drawn at random.

PTA Meeting
Please join us for our first PTA meeting this Friday, 9/13 from 9:30am-10:30 am. We will meet in the multi-purpose room (lunchroom). We will be reviewing and voting on our budget as well as outlining the events for the year.

Coat Drive
Do you have extra or unneeded coats or winter gear? Every year the Indian Prairie Parents Council (IPPC) organizes a district-wide coat drive to benefit District 204 students in need. The community service committee will be collecting coats and winter accessories (hats, gloves, scarfs, snow pants, snow boots) at Fry from September 19th-September 30th for this cause.

PTA Membership
Have you joined Fry PTA? If not there’s still time! Membership is only $20 and the majority of that is used to support programs such as STEAM day, Junior Great Books,Fry Family United Night, Family Bingo night, & the Fry Science Fair. The membership form can be found attached to this email or of the Fry PTA Facebook page. If you’re unsure if you joined or are current on your dues, please email us at fryfoxpta@gmail.com

PDAC Meeting
Please join us for our first PDAC meeting , Friday 9/20 from 9:30am-10:30 am in the MPR (lunchroom). We’ll be discussing PDAC programing for the current school year and start planning for FFUN. Younger siblings are welcome to attend.
