PTA Announcements for 2/3/20

Congratulations to all the students who got selected to participate in this year’s talent show. Fry’s Got Talent this year will be on February 6, 2020 at 6:30 pm in the Fry gym. Please come and support all these Fry Foxes as they showcase their various talents!

FRY SCIENCE FAIR, March 2nd, 6:30pm
Happy experimenting to all those students that have signed up! All Fry students and their parents are invited to participate in the fifth elementary school science fair on March 2nd. This is a family event with lots of exciting booths and demonstrations as well as a chance to celebrate our students accomplishments in STEM.

Registrations are due on Feb 24th. Just click on the link to register:

Not sure, how to get started or what it entails? Everything you need to know is included in our Science Fair Guide, attached in this email. This year students have the option to create a trifold display or a digital presentation to share their projects at the science fair.

We need judges and volunteers for the event, there is an option on the registration forms to volunteer or contact Krisha Dalal – and/or Mini Samuel-Landtiser -

Room Parents as you prepare for the final class party of the year, please keep in mind that you should reserve $10-15 dollars in party money to purchase a container for your classes Spring Fling raffle basket. Also, please turn in reimbursement requests from class parties along with receipts by March 15. Thank you!

Can you spare an extra snack? Snack donations are directed to students in our school district that are in need. Last year, our snack drive was a huge success! We will collect individually packaged snacks from February 10-13 in honor of “Friendship Day”. Acceptable snacks include (but are not limited to): Granola/cereal bars, Apple Sauce, Cereal, Goldfish, Cheez-its, Skinny Pop, Fruit Snacks.

Do you have extra formal shoes, purses and accessories lying around? Donate those gently-used items to Valley Runway! Most needed items this year are shoes and purses! This program gathers new and gently-used prom, homecoming, and formal dresses and accessories that will be offered at no cost to low-income high school juniors and seniors in District 204. Each year, one of the unmet needs continues to be shoes, purses and accessories. All items can be turned in no later than February 19, 2020. For your convenience, there will be a collection bin outside the front door of Jennifer Nied (2824 Mistflower Ln. - by Scullen).

We are currently accepting nominations for the position of PTA Vice President for the 2020-2021 school year. If you are interested in applying, please contact us at
