Student Material Self-Serve Pick-up 11/16-19/20

Reported by michelle_loughran@ipsd.org on 11/12/20

Student Material SELF-PICK-UP starts MONDAY!

We are ready for our next distribution of student materials. We will begin Monday, November 16th. This distribution will be a SELF-PICK-UP. Please read over the new directions below.

Parents or their designee are asked to come to school at any of the following times to pick up learning materials:

Monday, Nov. 16th Noon - 5:00 PM

Tuesday, Nov. 17th 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Wednesday, Nov. 18th 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Thursday, Nov. 19th Noon - 5:00 PM

If you are unable to come to school during the times above, please contact the office and we will set your materials aside and make another pick up arrangement.

There will be one bag per student to collect. The bags will be organized by grade, then by teacher, alphabetically in bins in the parking lot loop drive.

Enter the carline on Tall Grass Drive heading North toward Grassmere.—————— Turn right only on Grassmere, moving toward the parking lot. Pick-up will take place in the parking lot loop (not the loop in front of the school).

Tables/Bins will be placed starting with Kindergarten at the beginning of the loop. Numbered cones will mark grades 1-5. 5th Grade will be the last set of tables, closest to the stop sign.

Please pull-up to the appropriate table(s) in the drive to locate your child’s bag. If someone is already out of their vehicle at the table, please wait in your vehicle until they are done (one parent per table at a time). Bags will be marked with students’ names. Please double check that you are taking the correct bag! Please observe social distancing and wear a mask during pick-up.

Some teachers/grades may ask families to bring items to turn-in. If requested, bins for the return of items will be clearly marked under the tables.

In the event of rain, we will send an email to let families know that pick-up has been temporarily halted.

Families will be asked to return their child’s bag at a future date.

Thank you for reading and following the above directions. We appreciate your support!

Next week during material pick-up we will also be collecting food donations for Thanksgiving baskets for local District 204 families in need. Please see the attachment for more details. Thank you!
