To understand why book fairs are important, have a look at this video:

Our Book fair hours are as follows: Monday, October 6th 8:45 am – 3:30 pm
Tuesday, October 7th 8:45 am – 4:30 pm
Wednesday, October 8th 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Thursday, October9th 8:45 am – 4:30 pm
Friday, October 10th 8:45 am – 12:00 pm

We invite you to come with your child and make your choices in person to see the wide selection available. If that’s impossible and you would like to send money with your child, they will be allowed time to come and make their purchases during school hours. Please include 7.25% tax with any cash you send with your child, or make checks payable to Fry Elementary School. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. If you decide to visit the book fair during school hours, remember to enter the building through the front doors and sign in at the office.

We have sent home a flyer that previews some of the books offered at the Book Fair. If you are unable to attend the book fair with your child, you can place an order from the flyer (which includes a small order form) however we cannot guarantee that those same titles will still be available when your child comes to purchase. Or you may purchase online from Now until October 21st at the following website. This link may be used to purchase books or it can then be shared with relatives that may wish to make a purchase as a special surprise for your child. All books purchased online before October 21st will be shipped (free shipping) to our school and then sent home with your child. Fry School receives a percentage of the proceeds from your purchases, whether in person or online before October 21st that we use to purchase new materials for the Library Media Center. Please visit:

Wait there’s more, at the Book Fair, you can also help your child’s classroom increase the books in their classroom library with the Classroom Wish List program. Simply select one or more books from those that the teachers have listed at the Book Fair. The titles are hand-picked by each teacher as desired library selections for their classrooms. After we process your purchase, you can personalize your donation with the bookplate provided, and your child(ren) may deliver it to their classroom on the next day of school. The students will enjoy fresh new books in their classroom for reading because of your generosity.

As always, our Book Fair promises to be a great event. We urge you to attend, and look forward to seeing you here!

Thank you in advance for your support of literacy at home, in the classroom, and in the Library Media Center!
