3rd-5th Grade Chicago Wolves Hockey Reading Incentive

Reported by michelle_loughran@ipsd.org on 10/24/14

Fry's Library Media Center and the Chicago Wolves Hockey Team are partnering to make reading a fun and rewarding part of our students' lives!

Fry students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades have the option of participating in the Chicago Wolves Read to Succeed program. Students have been given a reading log to record their minutes of reading. Students that complete 300 minutes of reading in a 3 week time frame beginning October 24th - November 15th, will be awarded a FREE ticket to a Chicago Wolves Hockey game. Once students return their log, they will receive the order form to order their free ticket and any other tickets that the family would like to order at a reduced rate.

Fry's Game dates are below. Students may select one of these dates for their free ticket:

Saturday, Nov. 29 vs. Rockford at 7 pm.
Saturday, Jan. 3 vs. Rockford at 7 pm.
Saturday, Feb. 21 vs. San Antonio at 7 pm.
Sunday, April 19 vs. Toronto at 4 pm.

The Chicago Wolves play at Allstate Arena, 6920 Mannheim Road, Rosemont, IL. Arrive early for a pregame fireworks and laser show!

We hope all students will participate! For more information about the Chicago Wolves, reading tips, download another reading log, and to find out the players favorite books, visit:
