Fry Families United Night (FFUN) - Thank you!
Thank you Fry Families for actively being involved in the Fry Families United Night event!
By sending in a picture of your child, making your Family Crest, sharing a delicious dish with the Fry Community, and participating in the activities during FFUN, you have highly contributed in making this event a fun and memorable one for all!
If you have a few pictures taken during FFUN you would like to share, please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org . We will forward them to the Fry Yearbook Committee who will select a few of them.
Finally, if you have thoughts/suggestions you would like to share with us regarding Fry Families United Night or if you would like to get involved in the Fry Parent Diversity Advisory Council (PDAC), please send us an email at the above email address.
Again, thank you for your precious involvement throughout the preparation of the event and for joining us in the celebration of our Fry Community!
FFUN Organizational Committee Volunteers
The Science Fair is coming on April 6th so get your thinking caps on!
We have extended the deadline to March 17th so you still have time to get your registrations forms in (Registration forms attached below).
We will also hold an Information Night on March 14th at 6.30pm in the Lunchroom at Fry School, so come to see how easy and fun this experience is, ask any questions and if you’re stuck we can work through your child’s project with you.
Don’t worry if you cannot attend, all information and documents you need, such as important dates and a step by step guide on how to do your science experiment can be found in the Project Outline Guideline document, all this can be found under the PTA/STEM tab on the Fry School website.
To make this event a success for our children and school we need your help! Please consider volunteering as a Judge, you do not need to have a science background as the judging will be friendly questioning. Other ways to volunteer include doing an interactive/demo table or maybe you have a museum or collection at home you would love to display and share with the children. http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0549aeaa2fa5fa7-fryscience1
Finally, we do have a few Demonstration small boards for sale, however, the larger boards are available at Staples, Hobby Lobby and Target.
Looking forward to seeing you next Tuesday for Information night! Any question or queries please contact Caoimhe Dardis (email@example.com) or Diana Houck (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Happy experimenting !
