Fry Elementary School Weekly Announcements 11/27/17

Joshua’s Dragon Assembly on Wednesday!

We are so excited to welcome author, Stacey Glorioso, to Fry for an all-school assembly on Wednesday! Ms. Glorioso is the author of Joshua's Dragon. It is the inspirational story of Joshua, who has fears (dragons) to overcome like many of us, and how he learns to conquer them. Everyone has challenges in life and this book and assembly will motivate and teach us how to find that strength within ourselves to face and conquer them all! Attached is more information about the assembly and the book. Students are able to pre-order an autographed copy of the Joshua's Dragon book at a student discounted rate by completing the attached form and returning it to the LMC with a check payable to Fry School. Ordered books will be distributed following the assembly. The Dragon Crew is so excited to be coming to Fry School and they are asking that all students WEAR GREEN on WEDNESDAY! We're looking forward to their fun-filled inspiring message!

Lost & Found

Items in the Fry Lost & Found were on display in the foyer during conferences and will remain there through this Friday. If you think your child has misplaced something, please have them check in the foyer. There are LOTS of waterbottles! Items that remain after Friday will be donated or discarded as appropriate.

Engage 204 is a collaborative process between the community and District 204 to ensure a strong future for the district and its students. The community engagement sessions explore different aspects of the district, including, enrollment, district finances, and other key issues involved in maintaining a successful educational experience for students.
