Part-time Crossing Guard Needed

We are in need of a Tuesday/Thursday afternoon (3:30-3:50) Crossing Guard, with the option of substituting for additional hours. This is a paid position. Please contact the Fry office for more information about the application process.

Hour of Code Fundraiser-Bitsbox

This week many students will parcipate in "Hour of Code" activites at school as we seek to expose students to the beginning principles of computer science. Please see the attached flyer for information about "Bitsbox", an educational gift idea that delivers computer science activites to families--really cool stuff! Fry School will receive $25 for each subscription when you use the code provided!

Mrs. Lisa Yore, Fry Kindergarten Teacher, was recently nominated for a Golden Apple Award!

Fry Art Teacher Mrs. Joan Mills has been named the Illinois Art Education Association Distinguished Member Award recipient for 2017. This award recognizes the exemplary contributions, service and achievements of an outstanding IAEA member annually.

Fry Parent Mrs. Caroline Blanchard was recently selected as a 2017 Equity Champion in District 204. Each year, the Parent Diversity Advisory Council (PDAC) recognizes those who go beyond the call of duty to ensure that all students have equal access to success.

Next Engage 204 on Dec. 7

The second Engage 204 session takes place December 7 from 7 to 9 pm at Still Middle School, 787 Meadowridge Drive, Aurora. This session will focus on "Changing Enrollment: Balancing Buildings and Boundaries."

Engage 204 is a collaborative process between the community and District 204 to ensure a strong future for the district and its students. The community engagement sessions explore different aspects of the district, including, enrollment, district finances, and other key issues involved in maintaining a successful educational experience for students. Key to the success of this process is the collaboration and discussion between participants. District residents who attend will have the unique opportunity to share ideas and discuss topics in small groups in order to provide feedback to the Board of Education. Key findings and recommendations will be presented to the Board of Education by July 2018. All District 204 residents are invited to participate in Engage 204.
