Children should know their full name, address, and
phone number
Children should able to put their thoughts and ideas
down in both pictures and writing. Kindergarten writing and
spelling is done by writing down only the letter sounds heard. Ex.
Apple/apl; baby/babe. This builds confidence in knowing writing can
be done any level even if you don’t know how to spell.
