TEACHER APPRECIATION - Howdy Partners! We will be celebrating our annual Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week May 3-7th! This year’s theme is WILD WEST! Please see the attached flyer for all the details on how you and your students can help celebrate our AMAZING Fry Teachers and Staff!

CINCO DE MAYO FOOD TRUCK FUNDRAISER- Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Santiago’s Mobile Taco Kitchen! Their truck will be parked on Grassmere across from Fry on Wednesday evening! They offer both traditional Mexican favorites as well as vegetarian options. A menu can be found on the Fry PTA/Families Facebook pages.

FRY FOX CLASSIC - No need to be a pro, this event is for everyone! Please join us for the Fry Fox Classic at Tamarack Golf Club on Friday, May 14. This is an 18 hole shotgun start with check in at 12noon and tee off at 1pm. Please use the Signup Genius listed below to reserve your foursome. The $70 fee per person includes the round of golf as well as 2 beverage tickets. There are some great prizes for closest to the pin and longest drive. All payments are via PayPal at: Please use the Friends and Family option when paying. Space is limited so sign up soon! Fry PTA would like to thank Puneet & Nidhi Kapoor of opp Infinity for sponsoring this event.

SPRING FLING AUCTION PICK-UP - A huge thank you to all Fry Families that were able to participate in our Spring Fling Online Auction! We totaled over $9000 in just 48 hours! A special thank you goes out to the volunteer fundraising committee for soliciting amazing donations this year!

Basket pickup info:

Classroom Baskets: Pick up at Door 1 at Fry on either Monday, May 3rd from 9-9:30 or 2:30-3pm OR Tuesday, May 4th from 9-9:30 or 2:30-3pm.

Other Category Item Winners: Pick up at 3651 Hector Lane on Tuesday, May 4th from either 11:30-2:30 or 5:30-8:30pm.

Teacher Experience items: List of winners will be sent directly to teachers - you will be contacted by your teacher or are free to follow up with them directly to make arrangements for the “teacher experience.”

*If you are unable to pickup during these allotted times, please contact Lisa Miroballi at (203) 536-3558 to make other arrangements.

*Please note there are a few items that will be awarded electronically - you will be contacted to verify where the donation should be sent or given any other necessary information.

YEARBOOK - Hello Fry Families! We would love your help in collecting more pictures for the 2020-2021 Yearbook. We have worked with Pictavo (the yearbook company) to create a portal for you to share your pictures directly to the yearbook. Create an account through

*Teacher/Class Names: Upload at home school pictures here

*Grade Levels: Upload ONE picture of your child on school grounds or at home

*First Day of E-Learning: Upload ONE picture of your child/ren

*First Day of In-Person: If Applicable: Upload ONE picture

FLOWER SALE - SAVE the DATE! This year we will be doing a Shop and Share Day at The Growing Place on Thursday, May 20th. The Growing Place has two locations: 200 Montgomery Road, Aurora and 25W741 Plank Road, Naperville. You may shop at either location. 10% of your purchase will go to the FRY PTA. From flowers to plants to trees, you can get it all there! Be on the lookout for the flyer.

SCHOOL SUPPLY KITS - 2021-22 School Supply Kits are now for sale!!! We have partnered with Carlson’s to provide our school supply kits this year. Go to Select Naperville, then Fry Elementary. Kits will be shipped for free directly to Fry and will be distributed at Meet & Greet in August. Ordering deadline is June 30, 2021. Questions? Contact Alison at
