Fry Elementary Weekly Announcements 5-24-21

LMC Materials

All library materials are due back to the LMC by Friday, May 28th.

Bins are located in the LMC for students "in-person." Bins will be placed outside the front doors each day for Remote students that have been picking up books.

We are so happy that students have been reading so many books!

Textbooks, Chromebooks, and Charger Returns will take place according to the following schedule. Please have these items sent in with your student on these dates. Remote students will return these items after school is out.

Kindergarten - Monday, May 24th

1st Grade - Friday, May 28th

2nd Grade - Thursday, May 27th

3rd Grade - Tuesday, June 1st

4th Grade - Wednesday, June 2nd

5th Grade - Thursday, June 3rd


Student Absences:

Parents of both remote and in-person students should continue to use the attendance line to report a student absence before 9 AM daily. In-person students are marked absent when they are not physically attending school as scheduled. We are unable to accommodate in-person students temporarily switching to remote learning for personal reasons such as vacation, travel, appointments, etc.

5/31 No School – Memorial Day

6/1 5th Grade Celebration – Outdoors 1:30-2:45

6/4 Last Day of School (full day – dismissal at 3:00)

Remote Learner - Chromebook/textbook/classroom material return 3:30-4:30

6/7 Remote Learner - Chromebook/textbook/classroom material return - times TBA

6/11 4th Quarter Report Cards viewable in Parent View (after 12:00)


In-person Learning Reminders:

Extra Masks

While all students should arrive at school wearing a mask, we ask that all students also have an extra, clean mask in a baggie inside their backpack. Thank you!


Remote Learning Information:

Return of School/Classroom Materials-

Classroom Teachers will send home a checklist of materials that will need to be returned to Fry after school is out. We will have return times after school on Friday, June 4th and again on Monday, June 7th. Items that must be returned will include Chromebooks and chargers, textbooks, and other teacher issued items such as whiteboards and manipulatives. Items not returned on these dates will be charged to the student’s Push Coin account.
