FRY PTA ANNOUNCEMENTS 8.25.25

 

Hello Fry Foxes and families! My name is Julie McNeill and I am your PTA President this school year. I am very excited for all of the amazing events, fundraisers and projects we have planned to make this community even stronger! Along with myself, the PTA Board this year is Drew Southard as Vice President, Lynn Wabiszczewicz as Secretary and Jennifer Kass as Treasurer. Let’s have a great year, Fry Foxes!

 

PTA MEMBERSHIP:

FRY PTA is dedicated to supporting ALL students and staff at Fry by helping cover the costs of essential educational resources. We are also committed to creating opportunities for students to broaden their experiences. A few of these experiences include Fry’s Science Fair, Fry’s Got Talent and Junior Great Books. Fry PTA also provides the opportunity for students to socialize with their peers during meet and greet popsicle social, Bingo night, holiday classroom parties and 5th grade send off to name a few.

PTA Volunteer Opportunities

 

WELCOME RECEPTION:

Fry PTA (Parent Teacher Association) and PDAC (Parent Diversity Advisory Council) are hosting a Welcome Reception for our new families.  The meeting will be held at Fry Elementary on Friday, August 29th at 9:30am.  Join us for a chat and presentation with Fry Principal, Mrs. Hillman, and representatives from the PTA and PDAC.  There will also be an opportunity to have your questions answered.  Light refreshments will be served.

ANDY’S FROZEN CUSTARD FUNDRAISER:

Please join us for our first PTA dining night of the year.  Visit Andy’s on Tuesday, August 26th and one dollar per order will be donated to the Fry PTA.  Be sure to mention Fry PTA upon checkout to get credit for your order.  All proceeds from our dining nights are used to help fund PTA events and provide educational resources to Fry students and staff.

 

*Note: Flyer must be shown for donation to Fry PTA to be granted.

 

SPIRITWEAR:

Fry Spirit wear is here!  Order your 2025-2026 Fry Spirit wear today! The Spirit wear store closes on Friday, September 5th! Get your orders in!

REFLECTIONS:

Does your student enjoy art, music and dance or have an interest in writing, producing films and taking photos? Have them unleash their inner artist with PTA Reflections! 

 

This year’s theme is “I Belong!”

 All art pieces must be submitted to the Fry Office by early October, the exact date will be released soon, so keep an eye out for that!
