We are off to a great start!

We will continue to iron out our arrival/dismissal procedures. Thank you for your patience. Safety First!

As a reminder, only busses, daycare vans, and cars with special circumstance passes displayed may use the front circle drive before/after school. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please take note of the important items below:

 

Grade 1-5 Curriculum Night this week!

Tuesday, August 26^th

Parents/Guardians will meet with Grade 1-5 teachers to learn more about the upcoming school year. (Kindergarten Curriculum Night was already held)

Curriculum Night will begin at 6:30 pm. This night is for parents only. Please do not bring students to school.

Two sessions will be offered so parents can visit more than one classroom if needed.

Session 1 6:30-7:10

Session 2 7:20-8:00 (repeat of first session)

 

Staff emails

Our district email security software was updated in July, and as a result, we have just learned that many first-time emails to staff from Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail accounts were routed to “junk” mailboxes. We apologize for the delays this has caused in responding to the community. Staff are now searching for missed emails and will close the loop with you shortly. If you feel a key communication has still been missed, please call the office so we can assist you.

Please be reminded that the normal turn around time on emails is up to 24 hours. Parents should not expect email replies from staff during the same school day.

 

 

Lunch Reminders

Students who would like to purchase hot lunch need to place their order when they arrive at school in the morning. Families can view menus online at ipsd.org (Departments/Food Services). https://ipsd.nutrislice.com/menu

When packing a lunch from home, please be sure to pack spoons/utensils and condiments as needed.

If your child forgot their lunch, please ensure it is dropped off at school PRIOR to 11:00. Forgotten items are delivered to students at 10:00 and 11:00.
